The MCCI ExpressDisk BOT Driver will speed up any USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 storage device that uses the original USB Mass Storage Class "Bulk Only Transport" (BOT) protocol. The MCCI ExpressDisk UASP driver will further accelerate storage devices implemented using the newer USB Mass Storage Class "USB Attached SCSI Protocol" (UASP). The MCCI ExpressDisk Switch driver allows dynamic selection of legacy, ExpressDisk BOT, or ExpressDisk UASP drivers on a device by device basis.
The MCCI ExpressDisk UASP Driver is a complete replacement for Mass Storage Class and utilizes the Windows-provided SCSIport/Storport Driver to achieve maximum data throughput speed. The MCCI ExpressDisk UASP Driver provides 300% of BOT throughput.

MCCI Driver Architecture

The MCCI ExpressDisk UASP Driver and the MCCI ExpressDisk BOT Driver function as if they are OS-version neutral. MCCI’s Storport miniport driver is loaded for Windows Vista SP1, Server 2003, and later Windows versions. MCCI’s SCSIport miniport driver is loaded for Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8 without SPs.
