2010 MCCI® increases its global presence, opening offices in Noida and Chennai and launching a Chinese-language web site. Key products, such as the USB 3.0 SuperSpeed host stack for Windows and the MCCI Catena® 1910 reach production status.

2009 MCCI consolidates its position as the leading developer of USB connection technology with pioneering releases of SuperSpeed USB software and host PC USB class drivers as well as numerous internationally accclaimed and well-attended USB 3.0 training sessions.

2008 MCCI incorporates multifunction wireless USB software products into its portfolio, partnering with both Japan's KDDI and the European joint venture ST-Ericsson. The MCCI Test Lab is fully authorized as a test site for Wireless USB. MCCI partners with Synopsys to jointly develop SuperSpeed USB products.

2007 MCCI extends its USB Class Driver Drivers line to include support for Windows Vista. MCCI releases its Second Generation MTP Media Player Firmware. The MCCI Catena® 1640 and the MCCI Catena 1660 development PC Cards are added to the product line. MCCI supplies firmware and drivers to over 300 million mobile devices. MCCI renovates and expands its headquarters facility in accordance with green building principles.

2006 At the start of 2006, over 50 million cellular phones use the MCCI USB DataPump® and device class drivers. MCCI launches its Media Transfer Protocol (MTP) package. MCCI is certified as a PCMCIA ExpressCard Test House. MCCI makes its first deliveries of On-The-Go (OTG) software.

2005 MCCI joins the Camera & Imaging Products Association (CIPA). MCCI joins the WiMedia Alliance as a Contributor. The MCCI PictBridge Implementation launches.

2004 MCCI joins Mobile Imaging and Printing Consortium (MIPC). MCCI provides USB Mass Storage drivers for Windows 98, 98SE. MCCI certified for USB On-The-Go testing. MCCI ships Windows CE Drivers for USB phones and networking devices. MCCI announces USB DataPump support for Freescale i.MX1, i.MXL. MCCI joins the SH-Mobile Consortium established by Renesas Technologies. MCCI opens Sales and Support office in Taipei, Taiwan.

2003 MCCI makes its first deliveries of MCCI USB DataPump to cellular platform vendors.

2002 MCCI adds the MCCI Catena 1620 On-The-Go development PC Card to its Catena product line.

2001 MCCI delivers industry's first Communication-Class-aware composite device drivers for Windows, capable of supporting multi-function Communication devices such as 3G and 2.5G/GPRS cell phones. Introduces Wombat, a complete USB prototyping environment. Adds support for Intel SA-1110 and Motorola M1-DBX. Paul Berg, VP Architecture, selected as Chair of the USB-IF Device Working Group. MCCI Korea completes one of the first Windows CE "Stinger" ports for smart phones. MCCI adds MCPC GL-004/005 protocol modules to the MCCI USB DataPump, to support early deployment of 3G cell phones. MCCI joins MMCA.

2000 MCCI joins MCPC and PCCA. Delivers USB type-1 ATM solution for ADSL adapters using PPPoA and PPPoE for Windows and MacOS. Becomes leading independent supplier of firmware and drivers for USB cable modems. USB Test Lab is certified to perform logo testing by USB-IF, and expands to include 3 CMTS cable-modem head-ends, and a DSLAM ADSL head-end. MCCI adds support for ST-Ericsson D12, Broadcom BCM-3310 and Motorola MPC-850. MCCI adds Remote NDIS support to USB DataPump.

1999 Introduces MCCI USB Networking Drivers, and MCCI Skimmer CDC Ethernet evaluation platform. Terry Moore, President, and Paul Berg, VP Architecture, become joint chairs of the USB-IF Device Working Group. MCCI drivers ship with the market-leading USB-to-Serial adapter for PDA synchronization. MCCI introduces USB Printing drivers for Windows 98.

1998 Develops USB system architecture and software drivers for USB modems designed by the Lucent Wireless and Multimedia Group. Opens state of the art USB test facility to enable in-house USB testing and compatibility testing for the USB community. MCCI Korea opens.

1997 Delivers first version of the MCCI USB DataPump and USB Resource Compiler, targeting Lucent/LSI USS-820.

1996 Delivers TrueTask® Log-Structured FTL and TrueCard® -- flash memory and PCMCIA support packages.

1995 MCCI is started by Terry Moore as a spin-off from a PCMCIA chip company to provide system software to OEM product manufacturers. Joins the USB Implementers Forum.
